This Free Traditional Yoga class (floor to mat style) will open, stretch and strengthen your body as it introduces the foundational principles of yoga and the blending of gentle movement with deep breath. A gentle blend of standing and seated yoga poses to improve flexibility, strength, and balance. Appropriate for all ages and fitness levels, utilizing mindful, therapeutic movement to target common areas of inflammation, tension and weakness. Beginner friendly practice with modification options and variations with props (chair, blocks, strap, etc.) as well as breath work to ease stress, anxiety and persistent pain.

We'll sync breath with movement as we flow through an array of asanas benefitting the body, mind and spirit. Learn powerful stress-buffering breathing techniques, pranayama, and drop into gentle, tension-releasing vinyasa sequences to fortify both mind and body. Designed for all levels, though challenge postures may be offered for more seasoned yogis who seek them.
Class ends with a restorative savasana that includes optional hands-on adjustments for deep relaxation.

In this class we will use breath work and deep stretches to warm up the body leading into a slow flow designed to activate and strengthen balance, core and grounding while syncing our breath with our movements. Designed for all levels, fun “challenges” and modifications will always be offered as options. Class will then end with a restorative savasana that includes optional hands-on adjustments for deep relaxation.
*Please bring a mat and any props you may wish to use (blocks, blankets, eye masks, etc.)

Yoga sculpt combines traditional yoga sequences (both vinyasa and static poses) with hand weights to increase strength. Build muscle, strengthen your core, boost metabolism and energy levels, raise your heart rate, and increase flexibility and balance. The room is gently heated to help loosen your muscles, allowing you to get into deeper stretches and the strengthening work more quickly. The heat can help to detoxify your body and even improve your circulation.
